Our commitment to you
Terms and conditions aren’t very nice, but are very important to ensure we are equipped to look after your dogs welfare. Hounds Happy Holidays promise to provide the best standard of care for your dog. By agreeing to use us costumers agree to the following.
Your dogs health
Proof of vaccination, to include kennel cough in the form of your up to date vaccination certificate MUST accompany your dog on arrival to us. Your vet can provide vaccine information. If proof is not shown will not be able to accept your dog for boarding. Please ensure your dog is up to date with flea and worming treatments. We require details of pre-existing conditions and reserve the right to consult a vet should we feel it necessary, the signing of the Pet details form ( to which this is attached) gives us consent to do so. We reserve the right to refuse to board any pet that is clearly unwell or in a poor condition.
In the unfortunate and unprecedented circumstance that your dog should die during their stay with us, we will contact you immediately and do our very best to accommodate any requirements. that you may have at this time, whilst you arrange for the collection of your pet.
Charges and Collection
All dogs are charged for the day of their arrival and the day of their departure regardless of the time of arrival and departure. Their accommodation is theirs for the whole day and is not booked out to another dog. No refunds will be made in the case of early collection. If the dog has not been collected or its owner or emergency contact have not responded to any attempted contact by Hounds Happy Holidays within 7 days after the due collection date stated, it will be considered that the dog has been abandoned and Hounds Happy Holidays reserve the right to place the dog with an animal charity. Any costs incurred will be the responsibility of the owner.
Should your dog show aggressive or uncontrollable behaviour beyond reasonable acceptance, your dog will be placed in an alternative safe environment.
All dogs are insured during their stay but unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility for your dogs bedding during their stay with us. Our insurance does not cover any pre-existing or ongoing conditions requiring veterinarian care.
Should an emergency contact specified on your Pet details form not be available to make any decision necessary regarding your dog's health, agreement is given to Hounds Happy Holidays to make any decision necessary, provided it is acting in the best interests of your dog and is on the advice of a qualified vet. All vet bills incurred whilst your dog is in our care will need to be paid by the owner
